Why become an AHLA member?
- We are member owned, and are the voice of Alberta’s hotel industry.

Any hotel or other lodging facility can become a member of the AHLA.
Calculating your membership dues:
As a member in good standing, your property or group will be eligible for an 8% discount for participation in each of the power, natural gas, insurance, and employee benefits programs for dues. Up to 32% savings on your bill if you participate in all four programs.

Fee per VLT | $20/terminal |
*The following base fee discounts will be applied for hotels associated with multi-property ownership groups where all properties are members.
2-4 Hotels | 35% |
5-9 Hotels | 55% |
10+ Hotels | 65% |
As an AHLA member, you can:

Safety Subscribers
The Alberta Hotel & Lodging Association is the official safety association for all hotels and convention centres that are a part of the Alberta Workers’ Compensation Board Industry Code 87503. All of these businesses are subscribers to important AHLA health & safety communications and have access to health & safety training opportunities on the AHLA’s Health & Safety Training Portal.
