Teri Sunde-Clay
Interim Human Resources Development Program Manager

tclay@ahla.ca

Teri has been leading various AHLA projects since 1994, most recently the AHLA’s Centennial Celebration, the upcoming amalgamation with the Alberta Hospitality Safety Association (AHSA), and the Destination Employment project. Her favourite part of the job is the people she gets to work with, and her approach truly embodies her favourite quote: “You don’t inspire your teammates by showing them how amazing you are. You inspire them by showing them how amazing they are.” (Robyn Benincasa, World Champion Adventure Racer)

Teri holds a B.Comm. in Marketing with a minor in Tourism Management, and is a Canadian Registered Safety Professional.

Teri originally joined the AHLA when her dream of creating a petting zoo died, because she ran out of room after three dogs, three cats, two horses, and two miniature donkeys. She loves watching her teenagers’ baseball, softball, curling, volleyball, or basketball games … and she’s there whether she’s wearing a t-shirt, a rain poncho, or a parka. Or sometimes all three in the same day, because we live in Alberta.
