Gayle Day
Office Administrator

Gayle first joined the AHLA in 2006 as a Tourism and Marketing Assistant. In 2015, her sunny disposition made her the ideal candidate for the AHLA’s new Office Administrator position. Now she keeps the rest of the team in line — which is no small feat!— by maintaining organized and efficient office systems. In addition, Gayle provides administrative support to the President & CEO, as well as to the areas of accounting, membership, HR, communications, and program operations.

Gayle is also our membership database guru and is the main person ensuring our database is up-to-date. So if you have new contact information, please let her know!

Gayle loves making red wine and spending quiet time with her dog, Lucky, and cat, Gabby. She is a long-time Edmonton Eskimos season ticket holder, a dedicated curling spectator, a fair-weather golfer, and a former President of the Edmonton Ten-Pin Bowling Association. In addition, the Edmonton Oilers owe Gayle a great debt, as her excellent armchair coaching skills and enraged shouts of “SHOOT THE PUCK!” have frequently led them to victory.
