Started working in hotel industry: Nuwan started his Hotel Career as a Cook & Culinary Red Seal Apprentice in 1998.

- Lake Louise – Parks Canada Advisory Board
- Co-Chair of the Accommodations Committee for the 2015 Western Canada Summer Games.
Why Nuwan wanted to join the AHLA Board:
Having managed hotels in Alberta for the good part of the last Decade in both Fort McMurray and The Rocky Mountains I believe I can contribute positively as a member of the AHLA board and drive initiatives that benefit hotel programs and initiatives that benefit Alberta Hotels at large.
