As you may have heard at convention, the AHLA board has recognized that we need to change how we gather to celebrate and learn together. We decided to make our 2019 convention, where we have commemorated the AHLA’s Centennial, our last.

We have two new events planned for our members in 2020 that will maintain much of the key programming you’ve come to know, but will deliver it in a more accessible and impactful way:

Aspire is a one day professional development event for housekeeping, front office, human resources, and hotel administration. Aspire will be packed with training for front line staff, supervisors, and department managers. Save the date for Monday, April 20, 2020 at the Doubletree by Hilton West Edmonton.

Ascend is focused on providing the data, information, and insight that Senior Managers, Vice Presidents, owners, and investors need.  We believe Ascend will be an essential part of your business strategy, and we’ve timed it in early fall 2020 to support your annual forecasting and budget process.  We look forward to welcoming you to Ascend 2020 at the beautiful Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge, September 21st and 22nd, 2020.
