The provincial government is reviewing Alberta’s Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) system.

The OHS Act sets the minimum standards for workplace health and safety. It also outlines the roles and responsibilities of employers and employees.

The government will be reviewing the Act, compliance, enforcement, education, engagement, and prevention. They will also clarify employer and employee responsibilities.

You can provide feedback through an online survey and through written submission by October 16, 2017.

The AHLA will respond. Stay tuned for more information.
