Opening Breakfast & Keynote Address Monday, April 19 

 

The AHLA's Opening Breakfast has a reputation for bringing world class speakers to our members, and 2010 was no different!  Sponsored by Connect Logistics, the Opening Breakfast featured the amazing story of Mr. Warren Macdonald. 

Mr. Warren Macdonald lost both of his legs in a tragic climbing accident.  His story of challenge, triumph and hope is one that inspired and motivated all who heard him speak. Back by popular demand, this informative session, led by Mr. Frank Wolfe, President of HFTP, provided a glimpse into the future of technology in the hospitality industry.

Barbara Malacko of the Alberta Hotel Safety Associateion, provided this session that focused on simple steps to develop, implement and maintain aan effective health and safety management program for hotels.
