Extended Stay Properties Eligible to be Listed in Accommodation Guide
Where a facility would qualify under the Approved Accommodation Standards,
except that by the nature of its business it does not:
- Offer overnight accommodation, i.e. it may require a minimum stay,
- Have at least 25% of its units available to visitors as overnight accommodations from June to September inclusive, or
- Offer daily housekeeping to all units,
the property may qualify for a listing under the Alternate Accommodation section. It must meet all other standards under the Approved Accommodation Standards, and not be an exclusively residential property.
If the property fails to meet the Minimum Standards for Approved Accommodation, it is not eligible to be listed in any other section.
