About a Listing in the Official Accommodation Guide
Accommodation properties that are inspected and approved by the AHLA are eligible to be listed and place advertising in the Official Alberta Accommodation Guide.
The Accommodation Guide is widely distributed and highly popular resource for domestic, regional and international visitors. More than 250,000 Official Alberta Accommodation Guides are printed and distributed locally, nationally and internationally.
Guides are distributed through Visitor Information Centres, AMA offices, Convention and Visitor Bureaus, Travel Alberta and the AHLA.
Basic listing fees for the 2011 Official Alberta Accommodation Guide, which goes to print in December 2010, include:
- Your property's listing in the approved Accommodation Guide, and
- Your property's listing on Travel Alberta's consumer website
Listing fees are based on the number of guest rooms available:

Further Listing Enhancements
Advertising will allow you to enhance your current listing with a photo, logo, highlight, or display advertisement for the next edition of the Accommodation Guide.
The deadline for advertising in the Official 2011 Accommodation Guide is September 30, 2010.
