Seminars - Frequently Asked Questions

How much does training cost?

The cost of a seminar depends on:

  • How many participants you want to register,
  • Which seminar you want to hold,
  • Whether your organization is a member of the AHLA

How many participants can attend a seminar?

The minimum number of participants is 10. The maximum is 25.

How can I participate in AHLA training seminars?

There are two ways to participate in an AHLA seminar:

  • Arrange to have an AHLA certified trainer deliver your seminar, no worries for you and all the details are taken care of.
  • Have your in-house trainer attend a SERVICE BEST™Train the Trainer seminar and become trained to deliver SERVICE BEST™to your employees.

Does the AHLA have an on-going schedule of seminars being held around the province?

AHLA seminars are normally booked by organizations. Occasionally we will offer a public seminar.  Currently there are no public seminars scheduled.

What is the difference between SERVICE BEST™Train-the-Trainer and Train-the-Workplace Trainer?

SERVICE BEST™Train-the-Trainer is a workshop held by the AHLA to train your own in-house trainer to deliver SERVICE BEST™seminars.

Train-the-Workplace Trainer is a two-day workshop that enables supervisors, managers and department leaders to offer effective training for adults–not just SERVICE BEST™.
