Train Your Staff for Nationally Recognized Certification

emerit has four different training options:

1.  emerit National Occupational Standards

The national standards for occupations in the hospitality industry are available FREE, and will help you and your department managers to hire, train and evaluate your staff.  Click on the positions above to download the National Occupational Standards for each.  National standards for many other positions are available FREE through www.emerit.ca.  

2.  emerit National Occupational Workbooks 

Help your staff learn the emerit National Occupational Standards by using the National Occupational Workbooks, where the emerit standards are supplemented with exercises, activities and more hands-on learning.

3.  emerit National Occupational Trainer's Guides

The downloadable Trainer's Guide will help you and your department managers plan, deliver, follow up and evaluate training effectively. The Trainer's Guide is full of practical information and training activities that help supplement the emerit workbooks.

4.  emerit Professional Certification

emerit professional certification teaches your staff the requirements set out in the National Occupational Standards and helps them gain the knowledge and experience they need to be strong performers in their chosen occupations.
