Alberta Hotel & Lodging Association members who exemplify the very best qualities of the people working in the accommodation industry may be nominated for the Award of Distinction.
The following criteria are used to select award recipients:
The nominee must be a manager or owner/operator of a property that has been an AHLA member in good standing for no less than 5 years. The nominee must be able to demonstrate support for the association and regular participation in AHLA programs, services and activities during this time.
The nominee must demonstrate professionalism and a commitment to excellence at their property, as well as the vitality of the tourism & hospitality industry locally and provincially.
The nominee must have been a general manager or owner/operator for a minimum of 25 years.
The selections committee will review all eligible nominations for the Award of Distinction. 2014 awards will be presented at the Chairman’s dinner on Saturday, April 26th at the AHLA's Annual Convention and Tradeshow in Banff.
