AHLA members are invited to apply to be recognized as an Employer of Choice (EoC) by completing an audit of their property’s human resource practices.

The AHLA’s goal is for every member to achieve the EoC designation. Each and every AHLA member can achieve this designation – all you need to do is show that your property has solid and effective HR practices. You do not need to have an HR department in order to participate.

Successful applicants will be designated an Employer of Choice for 2011 and will be celebrated at the 91st Annual AHLA Convention in Lake Louise in April 2011.

The AHLA produces Alberta's Official Provincial Travel Guides, the #1 reference for vacationing travelers. The Guides are used up to three times more often than any other print media available, and continue to be your best advertising dollars. To request an onsite inspection to be eligible for a basic listing in our publications, please contact the AHLA office. Requests for inspection must be received before August 1 in order to be included in the next year's printed Guides.
