Experience includes Ship’s Lantern Resort Hotel & Chalets, Candle Lake, Saskatchewan from 1982 until October 2012 as Owner/Operator, managing a resort that went from an off-season staff of 10 to well over 80 staff during the busy season. The resort was a fifty-two bed facility with a banquet room, bar, restaurant and beer, wine and liquor sales. On the Board of Directors for the Hotel Association of Saskatchewan for over 10 years and Elected, as President of Saskatchewan for a two year term. Started local Chamber of Commerce and sat on the board of directors. Took initiatives concerning Tourism and assisted in starting provincial tourism board. Elected to Board of Provincial Saskatchewan Snowmobile association and developed Western Canada’s first groomed Snowmobile trail system.
